A big crowded city

In the big city
Where everybody shops,
Crowded in the stores
Snatching for the goods,
Hardly anyone can drive
Everyone over there,
The first ones are very lucky
Enjoying their goods.

(An acrostic poem) family

For good care
At every second,
Many family members
In many countries,
Linking arms for care
Yet other people don't.

The choir camp 24-25 April

Every intermediate chorister was invited to the choir camp including me. The camp was at Naamaroo Conference Centre which is near Lancove National Park.

When I arrived at the camp I went to my cabin. My cabin number was 5 so I went to cabin 5. In cabin five there were bunk beds. I chose my bunk bed on the top and most other kids including Mason (who is my friend) were on the top too. When we finished making our beds we went to the main hall to rehearse some music and songs. After rehearsing we had morning tea. At morning tea we had banana muffins and water. After morning tea we all had activities. Everyone had chances to play four activities which were quiet time, art, composition and outdoor activities. After this we went to have lunch. At lunch we had wraps. After lunch I forgot what I did. Then we had dinner. After dinner we went to the main hall to watch children performing. After watching we went to bed.

The next morning we went up for breakfast. After breakfast We rehearsed and after rehearsing we drew a random fish (like a watermelon fish, banana fish and etc.). When we finished drawing we rehearsed once again. Before we went home a teacher announced which cabins deserved to get a special prize to take home for performing good everywhere and slept the earliest. The winning cabins were cabin 5 and 15.

I can't believe that the special prize was only a piece of chocolate but I still happily took it and went home.

This was my first camping. It was really fun. I didn't get homesick at all!

At school today with all the other students we done work and had some play time.

Today at school in the morning at 8:55 all the students lined up in their assembly lines. Mr. Anderson done some explanation and gave out some rewards at assembly. After Mr. Anderson finished we headed to our class. In our class in the morning we did reading groups. I read with Dylan Mye our new book Hannah Plus, One. I have just finished all chapther one when we finished reading groups. I was nearly staying in next door because the doors of the classrooms closed. After fruit break we went to computer lessons and with microsoft word 2007 we learned how to put a banner or other shapes, make it the size we want it to be and how to turn it around. After the computer lessons we went out to recess. I had a fun time at the cola. When recess is finished we did our spelling, finished our handwrinting and did our maths. We went to lunch. At lunchtime I had a run at the field and played at the cola. After lunch we made Poppies (not your grandpa it is actually a red flower we use to celebrate ANZAC day) for craft and gone home.

A trip to the Blue Mountains

On Good Friday I went to the Blue Mountains with my dads friends and my parents.

We all went into Scenic World and we saw a lot of goods. We didn't buy anything exept for the tickets for the ride and found that an Australian staff can speak chinese language perfectly! Pretty surprising though that he can speak chinese. Then my dad's friends and I went a different way. When we were waiting for my friends we have gone on a ride on the Skyway and at our destination we went for a walk and went back to the Scenic World. We then saw our friends at the scenic world. My friends that I met were Ada, Alfred and Lisa. When we finished talking we went on the Railway and zoomed down the hill. It was fun but unfortunately the ride ended very fast. We walked on the Walkway and we saw lot of giant trees, coals and plants. Our last ride is the Cableway (which was very simmilar to Skyway but the Skyway has a see through glass in the middle) and went to the restraund to have our lunch and then we headed for the Jenolan caves.

I just love this day very much because we had such a beautiful walk in the Walkway.
